How to apply

The Australian Children’s Trust accepts applications at any time of the year. However applications are assessed and applicants notified of the outcome of their submission after quarterly Board Meetings.

We ask that all applications address the following, in a succinct and clear manner:

  • Name of the organisation submitting the proposal
  • Contact details (email, postal address & phone number)
  • Overview of the project/organisation
  • Who the project/organisation will help & how
  • Total cost of the funding/project & a budget detailing a breakdown of costs
  • How much has been raised to date & how much has been promised
  • Who else is providing support & who else has been approached
  • A sustainability plan
  • Third party endorsements, with a particular focus on support from the relevant local communities

Once you have submitted your application, you will receive an email notification advising you that we have received it. You will be contacted via the details you have provided if further information is needed.
